First Weigh In!
Current Wieght: 215.5
8.5 pounds! That's all I'm saying!
However, I wasn't the biggest loser this week; I think that honor belongs to the woman who lost 11 pounds last week!!!!
What's more important is that all my tests came back normal, which was great to hear after a week of dizziness, headaches, and a growling tummy!
Things are getting easier, but they messed up my food order, so I am stuck eating the tomato soup for dinner for the rest of the week. Imagine the sickliest, palest tomato at the grocery store, you know the one they treat with chemicals to turn red, then suck out any flavor, dehydrate it and add salt. That's what the tomato soup tastes like.
Jake bought me some hot sauce to make it palatable.
My upper GI tract is in serious distress; the woman leading the class seemed surprised when I said I wasn't used to the lack of leafy greens and so much processed food. Like all fat people eat McDonalds all day or something! Doesn't she know I got fat by drinking wine and eating goat cheese! Sheesh! I may be fat, but I am foodie, organic fat!
Anyway, I accomplished my goal of losing my camel-like qualities and shed my water weight plus three pounds of actual fat.
External goal: 160 pounds
Internal goal: To avoid having to go into hiding, because I turn into a raging-green "hulk" when irritated! Also world peace.
See you next week!

Week Two: Day One of the Food
According to the VERY nosy scale, I gained 3 pounds last week. However, since it measures your Body Mass, Fat Mass, and Water Weight, it confirmed what I knew all along...I retain enormous amounts of water during the day! Despite gaining three pounds, my fat mass stayed the same! I am actually part camel!
I started the products this morning. I made a vanilla latte with coffee and the vanilla powder. It's gooooood!
Weight: 224
External Goal: 160
Internal Goal: World Peace and to shed camel like qualities
BMI: 37.3
Fat %: 46
I will be tweeting my adventures as well! I'd love to create a Twitter Group with people doing the same thing around the country! Follow me on

Half Fat...
Okay....
So, I went to my first meeting. They weighed me on a scale which spit out a RECEIPT indicating HOW FAT I WAS!!!! 46.7% fat, apparently! BMI: 36.
My non fat self--at 0% fat is 117 pounds. Weird...how does the scale KNOW that!
However, I lost two pounds since last week! SO my starting weight is 220.6
Goal Weight to the World: 160
Internal Goal Weight: Heidi Klum--not pregnant.
Pounds to go: 60.6 or 120, depending on goal!
The other people laughed when I said I was psychological traumatized by the idea of eating liquid food for three months...but I was serious! I love food! Yummy, yummy food! Food with actual taste and texture!
They also laughed when I said I was worried about how much water I have to drink...don't these people realize that my whole life is controlled by bells! I can't just use the bathroom any old time...sheesh! Thinking about wearing Depends on Block Days!
No liquid food the first week. I went home and ate sensibly, when I all I wanted to do was drink wine and eat chocolate. Okay, I did finish a chocolate bar. I'll be honest. But I have been parceling out that one chocolate bar all week...thinking it was my last week of chocolate ever! However, I did not overdo it, and I have cut out alcohol completely...how I will miss you Pinot Grigio!
Stay tuned for next week's installment of: My Adventures with Liquid Food!

It begins (cue music)!
So my OBGYN says: hey, while doing surgery we discovered that you are about to get a hernia...
OH REALLY!
yep you need to lose 30 pounds FAST...
um yeah...I've been working on that for at least five years...
So... my GP recommends...
LIQUID FOOD!!!
You know, like Oprah...
I am not on the liquid food YET--that doesn't start until March 10th...
But heck...I am nervous!
Medical Weigh Loss Doctor made fun of me when I told her I ate 2100 calories a day--"that's WAAAAY too much!"
Um can someone tell the food pyramid people! They say 2200 for a woman my age!
Liquid food is 960 cals a day....yum!
Starting weight 224
Goal Weight: 175
